![]() The most I’ve seen was a panel at D23 2017 in Anaheim, that I myself attended, where an author discussed the history of Oswald and the attempts to recover the long-lost cartoons, and to promote his book on the same subject. ![]() The game’s over a decade old at this point (the sequel will be next year) without any mention of it in any other media, and Oswald’s been dead in the water ever since then (there were supposedly plans for Oswald to get his own TV Show, but no development on this idea after Epic Mickey. However, since it seems Disney folded at least Junction Point Studios and, assuming they still own the rights to Disney Interactive (presumably so since it’s Disney), Epic Mickey could appear in KH, or dare I say return on its own. From defunct companies, to release dates. So, to conclude, unfortunately there are, or at least were, too many justifiable factors playing into why Epic Mickey hasn’t shown up in KH yet. And while, as another person had pointed out, Epic Mickey would’ve been awesome, DDD was released several months before Epic Mickey 2 (DDD released in March of 2012 while Epic Mickey 2 released on Mickey’s birthday in November in the same year). Even then, it appears Disney owned the two companies (at least Junction Point Studios). ![]() Although I’m pretty sure all three of those are at this point defunct because I can’t remember the last time Disney Interactive Studios did anything past Disney Infinity, and the two companies who developed the game are companies I’d never heard of until now. Just a quick Google and it seems like, while it’s under the Disney umbrella (Disney Interactive Studios), it’s still by a 3rd party of course (two different production companies at that).
